Micro sites are a great technology but the content management systems that support them are not what they're all cracked up to be. Micro sites themselves are great but if code disappears or get corrupted and your always in fix mode, then its time to move on.  Content Management Systems have come of age but the best one's are connected to social media platforms.  If you're looking at conversion results, blogs are the way to go.  New investment and innovations will and is being put toward social media. If you are looking for a great micro site strategy, think Blogs.  There's Google's Blogger; there's Wordpress, but the one we like is a great place to start and you can get a free business blog to test their CMS (content management system).
